Every year, the chinese have an extended period of time off for their New Year. This usually takes place over the whole month of February.
Most suppliers will shut down during this period meaning we experience shipping delays
We inform customers of the delays here:
- Banner at top of website
- Order confirmation emails
- Shipping & handling page
- Aftership tracking emails.
However, not everyone reads and we will have some customers complain.
It’s very important we reassure them that their product is on the way. There is a saved response in the helpdesk software called ‘Chinese New Year Delays’ which you can use to respond
We will offer a 10% discount on their order for any customer that’s getting annoyed or is not happy.
The discount code is: CNY10 - just apply it to their order.
These delays do not affect Apple and Fitbit products supplied by Wu to the USA as these are all fulfilled from the USA
So if anyone from the USA (who has ordered a product supplied by Wu) contacts us with concerns, you can reassure them that their order is being sent from the USA and will not be affected
